COMPANY

TDM BRASS was established in 1977 in Maclodio, a small municipality in Brescia area, by the Delaini family, who had already taken its first steps into brass manufacturing in native Lumezzane – a mountain village that proved to be unsuitable for the purpose because of its geographical position, distant from main business centers and infrastructures. The decision to move the Company headquarters and plant to Maclodio, located closer to the main town Brescia in a territory with regular morphology, was taken with the aim to improve the logistics and industrial connections. In the early ‘70s, the economy of the area, historically based on agriculture, was experiencing an industrial boom that in few years involved 40% of the local workforce.
TDM BRASS made its own contribution to this result, starting as a brass turning Company and then gradually developing its activity in response to the most diversified needs of a challenging and constantly changing market. Nowadays TDM BRASS is a leading manufacturer of brass fittings and plumbing items for heating and sanitary systems, specialized in the production of screw and press fittings for multilayer pipe.

DESIGN

TDM BRASS qualified technical team cooperates with a selected group of design studios. The choice to build up external partnerships was strategically planned by TDM BRASS as part of its continuous research for the most innovative technical and design instruments. Products testing and analysis are carried out through flow rate simulations and tests of resistance to high pressure and pull-out, with the final purpose to ensure the highest quality and reliability.

Production

TDM BRASS offers a vast range of products obtained from brass bar, or from molded pieces subsequently shaped on transfer machines. Modern and efficient machines ensure fast execution and accurate production. The employment of advanced equipment at all stages of production guarantees outstanding products, complying with the top quality standards that have always been a company hallmark on the market.

4.0 INDUSTRY

Starting from 2018, TDM BRASS has been implementing new information and digital technologies within its production system, with the aim of improving the management control and optimizing the organization of production and logistic process. The project, in constant development, is part of the plans for the realization of cutting-edge, future oriented factories (smart factories), in compliance with European strategy Industry 4.0.

Quality Control

TDM BRASS has been granted the Certification ISO 9001:2015 for quality control. The company ensures the compliance with the highest quality standards through meticulous controls on the products, all branded in order to guarantee traceability. WAREHOUSE AND LOGISTIC

TDM BRASS uses an advanced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for the management and preparation of the orders.

Furthermore, the company has got two large covered warehouses intended for the storage of:

  • Components and semi-finished items;
  • Finished products ready for delivery;

This, combined with strategic partnerships with important couriers and forwarders, allows TDM BRASS to ensure an efficient and fast delivery service in Italy and worldwide.

Thanks to the solid business network and to the cooperation with top logistics companies, TDM BRASS is able to deliver its products all over Italy in a fast and efficient way.
