Le valvole radiatore manuali permettono la regolazione della portata di acqua ai radiatori manualmente aprendo o chiudendo il vitone interno. Quanto il vitone è completamente aperto, la valvola permette il passaggio completo di acqua all’interno del radiatore, aumentando così la temperatura media nel radiatore fino al suo livello massimo. Viceversa, riducendo l’apertura della valvola la portata di acqua si ridurrà gradualmente, con la conseguente diminuzione della temperatura del radiatore. È inoltre possibile chiudere completamente la vite, impedendo così all’acqua di entrare nel radiatore. Le valvole sono disponibili in due dimensioni (3/8” e 1/2”) ed in due versioni, con attacco per tubo ferro o con attacco universale per tubo rame o tubo multistrato (Pex/Al/Pex).

Thermostatic valves with pre-setting have the function to regulate the water flow to the radiator through a suitably shaped screw, thus achieving a perfect balancing of the circuit. The particular shape of the regulating screw allows to set a predefined pressure drop rate for each calibration position. TDM’s thermostatic screw has got various calibration positions, clearly displayed on the screw head. By regulating the screw it is possible to limit the valve opening with no need of thermostatic head, which can be installed later on. Advantages of using a thermostatic screw with pre-setting are:

• System balancing that avoids waste and thermal imbalance;
• Significant cost-savings in purchases and maintenance of circulating pumps;
• Better and more efficient performances of thermostatic valves. Valves are designed for the installation of thermostatic control.

They are available in two sizes (3/8” and 1/2”) and in two versions: with iron pipe connection and with interchangeable connection for copper, plastic, or multilayer pipe (Pex/Al/Pex)
